Rihanna launched her cosmetic line and it shook the beauty community. Rihanna created 40 shades of foundation which is unheard of! As a brown girl, I’ve found it difficult shopping for a drug store or high-end foundation because of their shade range. Thanks to Fenty Beauty, I was able to buy her makeup with no problem. I’m a huge fan of Rihanna so it was only right I test Fenty Beauty to see if it stood up to its hype.
I loved each of her products and loved the beautiful packaging! The Pro Filtr foundation is medium to full coverage so I definitely love the skin like finish and how light the formula applied. The Match Stix concealer formula is a little drying in comparison to other concealers that may be more creamy. However, I wouldn’t write this concealer off completely especially if you don’t know how to use the concealer correctly. It’s all about the application. The Gloss Bomb lipgloss is by far my favorite lipgloss! I LOVE pink nude glosses and it’s lightweight and smells great! It’s not sticky or heavy when applied to the lips and also works great as a lip topper on another lipstick or gloss. The Trophy Wife Highlighter was the first product I fell in love with because of its high yellow pigment and overall glow to her face. The color of this Highlighter is very intimidating at first glance but I find that the reason why I was drawn to it. It’s very bold and daring and honestly that’s what makes glam fun right? I definitely would recommend Fenty Beauty to a beginner or anyone who is interested in an inclusive beauty line with quality products with a good price point. Inclusion is something I look for with any beauty line and I prefer to spend my coins where all beauty is celebrated. Check out how I used these products below!
