You all know I LOVE sampling everything out of Sephora, especially foundations. I feel like if I’m going to pay $28 and up for a GOOD foundation then I want to make sure of a few things:
- Does this brand have an extensive shade range for EVERYONE?
- Does this brand have my correct undertone shade?
- Will I regret (Have buyers remorse) investing in this purchase
The good news is, Nars answered all my concerns with a ‘YES’ except I had no buyers remorse!
Nars Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation in the shade, Macao, is my new favorite. This foundation, in particular, has 34 shades and is lightweight with buildable coverage. It’s said to give you 16 hours of fade-resistant wear. I haven’t worn this foundation for 16 hours but I’ve definitely worn this foundation 5-8 hours max. It gives you a natural finish which I’ve found myself to be more prone to during the summer months, and it passes the sweat-proof test!
Nars Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation retails at $49 but I look at it as an investment because it gives me the coverage I desire and I know it has my correct undertone without it ‘oxidizing.’ This has happily been my summer go-to and it includes watermelon and apple extract which could be a good reason why it feels great on your skin too.

Yes! Finding the right foundation can be challenging. I agree that $28 is what you will pay for a great product. I pay a little more as I am hooked on MAC. I love Sephora too when seeking new cosmetics. I may have to check that brand out since they have 34 shades. I need it to look natural. Pretty pics of you.

I LOVE Fenty too and cant wait to try the hydrating foundation. I feel like my skin is changing so I can wear more hydrating foundations versus Matte now.

I like sampling foundations too mostly so thag i spend money something that really makes me happy. For $49 I would expect it to meeet my expectations. I love that they have several shades.
