Kentucky Derby is a Louisvillian holiday! When you’re from Louisville, Ky. you KNOW everything there is to know about Kentucky Oaks and Derby from an early age. If you didn’t know I work in media for my day job and I had the opportunity of a lifetime to attend Kentucky Oaks and Derby 145.
I’m originally from Louisville, Kentucky and the Derby is something that I am very proud of. It’s the official kick-off for summer here in Kentuckiana. For the most exciting 2 minutes in sports, I recommend the Kentucky Derby to any and everyone. If you still don’t know what the Kentucky Derby is about my suggestion would be to google it. Kentucky Derby is all about the most beautiful thoroughbreds and fillies you’ll ever see, the best fashion you’ll ever see and a party like you’ve NEVER seen.
