If there’s anything I know about skincare is that it should be individualized. I’m always a fan of Fenty products so when Rihanna decided to launch her skincare line I had to try it out.
My reservations with celeb-based skincare lines are that they can be very basic and not fully address every need. I have acidic skin and need some kind of acne treatment in my daily routine.
Although this wouldn’t be my daily regimen, it will for sure work best in my nighttime routine. This is a beginner-friendly skincare system that is perfect for those who are unsure about what to start with.
Here is what you can expect in the Fenty Skin care line:
Total Cleanser: A creamy 2-in-1 makeup remover-cleanser that removes dirt, oil, and long-wear makeup without stripping or drying.
Fat Water Toner-Serum: Is a 2-in-1 toner-serum formulation, making it thicker than your standard liquid toner. This toner-serum has witch hazel in it and has raised a lot of questions about if this could dry out their skin. Fat Water is made with a blend of antioxidants, vitamin c, witch hazel, niacinamide, and other plant ingredients to gently brighten and refine skin. It’s not going to plump or dramatically hydrate, so you will want to chase it with moisturizer.
Hydra Vizor: This functions as both a moisturizer and an SPF, and I’ve definitely paid at least that much when buying face cream and sunscreen separately. More importantly, I knew I’d made a worthwhile purchase the minute I put it on.
Hydra Vizor is packed with superstar ingredients like moisturizing hyaluronic acid and niacinamide, which reduces dark spots and evens skin tone. Its SPF component is just as impressive. True sunscreen devotees know how hard it is to find a product that’s reef safe but doesn’t leave a cast, as most reef-friendly sunscreens are mineral-based and prone to producing that dreaded white residue. Hydra Vizor, on the other hand, is chemical-based, which allows it to blend seamlessly into all skin tones, yet it doesn’t contain any of the chemicals known to be harmful to reefs. This moisturizer is ideal for people whose skin isn’t sensitive to fragrance. I recommend you do a patch test on your skin before using it.
However, mineral sunscreen is often recommended more because zinc and titanium offer the best broad-spectrum sun protection.

I purchased the line too and I agree with you that it’s a good basic line you just need to add your own serums that work for you. I love the toner
